Elina Mereminskaya holds a PhD (Doctorate in Law) from Göttingen University, Germany. She has a long trajectory in academic realm through teaching, research and publishing.

“What does it take to become an International Arbitrator? Not so many years ago, it might have been enough just to have learned about arbitration, to have vast experience in the arbitrator´s chair, to speak several languages and perhaps be an expert in a particular substantive matter. Today, an arbitrator is also expected to have case-management skills, to project confidence and to know how to handle relationships with co-arbitrators and parties.”
